Job summary

Select is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our busy Eye, Suffolk warehouse. You will supervise daily operations and support the Warehouse Manager.

You’ll lead a team of forklift drivers, operate a forklift safely, allocate tasks, and ensure goods are received, picked and dispatched on time.

The ideal candidate has forklift licence, warehouse experience, good communication and health and safety knowledge; Monday–Friday 07:15–16:00, £14.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of health and safety procedures.
• Basic computer and warehouse system experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the daily warehouse operation and supporting the Warehouse Manager.
• Leading and supporting a team of forklift drivers.
• Operating a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Allocating daily tasks and monitoring team performance.
• Ensuring goods are received, picked and dispatched safely and on time.
• Maintaining stock accuracy and completing inventory checks.
• Labelling, sorting, packing and unpacking goods.
• Completing daily forklift checks and basic maintenance.
• Ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
• Supporting general warehouse duties as required.
