Job summary

JRL Modular Limited in Carlton-on-Trent near Newark is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise daily operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing and shipping, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.

You will lead a team, coordinate with Logistics and fulfil health and safety standards, maintain stock accuracy, and drive continuous improvement in warehouse processes.

Experience in warehouse supervision, good communication and knowledge of WMS are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or a similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control.
• Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise warehouse staff in daily operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
• Monitor workflow and assign tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain good housekeeping and cleanliness standards throughout the warehouse.
• Communicate delivery schedules and coordinate with external logistics providers to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct regular inventory location checks and quantity counts to maintain stock accuracy.
• Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and operational inefficiencies.
• Ensure factory refuse skips are emptied and replaced as required.
• Maintain a high housekeeping standard in the external yard space.
