Job summary

JRL Group Ltd invites applications for a permanent warehouse operative based at our Newark, NG23 site. Working hours are Monday–Thursday 7:30am–4:00pm and Friday 7:30am–3:00pm, paid till 4pm. The role involves picking, quality inspecting, stacking, labelling and loading/unloading containers, with full training provided.

Counterbalance FLT license is preferred and we offer on-site parking. You will be part of a team focused on reliability, organisation and accuracy within our ISO 9001 quality

Qualifications

• Ability to manage multiple tasks, well organised, computer literate, willing to learn our systems.
• Previous stores/warehouse experience
• Good literacy and numeracy skills
• Drive and motivation
• Excellent attendance and reliability record
• An eye for detail
• Be a team player

Responsibilities

• General warehouse duties: picking, quality inspecting, stacking, labelling, loading/unloading, palletising.
• Work within ISO 9001 quality procedures.
• Maintain clear and tidy warehouse areas and remove rubbish to skips.
• Ensure accurate records and housekeeping to keep aisles clear and fire doors accessible.

Job description

JRL Group's East Midlands offsite manufacturing facilities, conveniently located adjacent to the A1 in Carlton on Trent, between Retford and Newark. For a complete understanding of this opportunity, and what will be required to be a successful applicant, read on.

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:00pm and Friday 7:30am to 3:00pm (Paid till 4pm). This is a Permanent PAYE position, payed weekly based at JRL Modular factory in Newark, NG23.

Duties

General warehouse duties to include:

• Picking
• Quality inspecting
• Stacking
• Labelling
• Working in warehouse, loading and unloading containers, pallets, modules or vehicle, manual handling training will be given
• Palletising
• General warehouse duties
• Ensure warehouse areas are kept clear and tidy, at all times
• General housekeeping, ensuring all aisles and fire door areas are continually monitored for build up of debris
• Remove all rubbish to appropriate skips/areas
• Work within our ISO 9001 quality procedures

Any Other Duties Required By Supervisors

Counterbalance FLT licence required

Full training will be provided.
