Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to supervise PM shift operations and lead a Team of warehouse staff in a fast‑paced environment. You will ensure accurate picking, packing and dispatch, while maintaining safety and quality standards and driving team performance.

You will provide hands‑on leadership, training and shift handovers, with a focus on continuous improvement and maintaining a positive team culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in a team leader or supervisory role within a warehouse or logistics environment (or similar).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem solving abilities.
• Proven experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume warehouse.
• Knowledge of WMS systems and warehouse processes.
• Understanding of Health & Safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work on your own initiative and make confident operational decisions.
• Flexible and willing to support business needs when required.
• Candidates must undergo right‑to‑work checks. Evidence of 5‑year referencing and criminal record checks may be required at some sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse team during the PM shift.
• Ensure all orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and on time.
• Monitor productivity and performance, addressing issues promptly and fairly.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, quality and operational standards.
• Provide hands‑on leadership and training to develop and motivate team members.
• Conduct shift briefings, allocate tasks and monitor workflow to meet targets.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, Warehouse Supervisors and the Operations team to ensure smooth shift handovers.
• Manage stock control and investigate discrepancies when required.
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, safe and well‑organized throughout the shift.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a positive team culture.
