Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Southampton is seeking an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to guide a high-performing team across a rotating 5-from-7 shift pattern. The role supports operational excellence and customer service in a busy warehouse environment.

You will lead, develop and motivate staff, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while managing workload and priorities. A pension, generous leave, GXO University and other perks are offered.

GXO are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team inSouthampton. You will lead a high performing team of flexible and engaged colleagues, focusing on always delivering operational excellence.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis. You will work ‘any 5 from 7’ covering rotating shifts, 07:00 till 15:30 & 13:00 till 12:30. Flexibility is required, this is logistics after all!

Pay, benefits and more:

You’ll be paid a salary of up to£29,452.80per annum. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Plan, co-ordinate, supervise and report upon the work activities of the warehouse operatives, providing effective communication, leadership, succession planning, motivation, training, and development
• Respond constructively to internal and external customer requests while developing and maintaining effective communication
• Report any deviations from the plan to Supervisor/Operations Manager accurately and in timely manner
• Ensure that Quality, Health & Safety, and operational procedures are maintained, that all incidents are reported in an accurate & timely manner as per company standard

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Experience is similar role within a fast-paced warehouse environment preferable
