Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for our BAE Systems site in Samlesbury. This full-time, permanent role operates Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 pm to 06:00 am, leading a shift and coordinating activities across the warehouse to hit daily targets.

You will drive safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by fostering a team-based culture and monitoring KPIs and budgets. The package includes salary up to £32,681.44, 32 days leave, pension, GP, life assurance, EAP, MyBenefits,

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the end-to-end warehouse processes and health and safety.
• Experience working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment.
• The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst effectively leading a team.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• You’ll operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse.
• Ensure that they and individuals within their team comply with working practices that result in delivering a clean and safe workplace.
• Providing focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by helping to lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily targets for each shift.
• Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and costs against budget.

We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our BAE Systems team at our site in Samlesbury. You will lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Sunday to Thursday shift pattern, covering the hours of 10:00 pm - 06:00 am.
