Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for the Samlesbury site (BAE Systems) in the UK. You will lead a shift-based team, coordinating activities to meet targets while driving continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.

The role is full-time and permanent, with a Sunday to Thursday night shift from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The salary is up to £32,681.44 per year, and the benefits package includes a company pension, health services, and various employee discounts.

We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our BAE Systems team at our site in Samlesbury. You will lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Sunday to Thursday shift pattern, covering the hours of 10:00 pm - 06:00 am.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• You'll operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse
• Ensure that they and individuals within their team comply with working practices that result in delivering a clean and safe workplace
• Providing focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by helping to lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily targets for each shift
• Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and costs against budget
