Job summary

GXO is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader for the Samlesbury site to guide a shift-based team across all warehouse operations. You will promote a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork, with responsibility for safety, accuracy, and productivity.

The role requires strong leadership and clear communication, enabling the team to meet daily targets within a 10:00 pm–6:00 am Sunday to Thursday shift pattern. GXO offers a comprehensive benefits package.

We are currently searching for an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to join our BAE Systems team at our site in Samlesbury. You will lead a team and coordinate activities to achieve business goals by focusing on continuous improvement and promoting a team-based culture.

This is a full-time, permanent position working Sunday to Thursday shift pattern, covering the hours of 10:00 pm - 06:00 am

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £32, 681.44 per annum, and 32 days annual leave inclusive bank holidays. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• You’ll operate as a working team member and conduct tasks in all areas of the warehouse
• Ensure that they and individuals within their team comply with working practices that result in delivering a clean and safe workplace
• Providing focus on health & safety, productivity, accuracy, and quality by helping to lead the operational shift team by encouraging a team ethic to achieve daily targets for each shift
• Monitor progress and performance against key performance indicators and costs against budget

• E xperience working in a complex, fast-moving logistics/warehouse environment
• The ability to work on your own initiative, whilst effectively leading a team
