Position: Warehouse Operative (Team Leader)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Location: HMP The Mount - Hemel Hempstead (HP3 0NZ)

Salary: £26,262

Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8.00 - 16.30

Note: The role is based within a prison. Successful candidates will need to undergo an enhanced security vetting process.

Every day on our HMPPS contract offers new challenges! As a Warehouse Team Leader, you'll play a crucial role in supporting inmates' rehabilitation by leading a diverse team within the prison environment.

What does the role entail?

• Leading a team of prisoners in a warehouse environment, while also participating in picking and packing activities
• Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse (located on-site at the prison)
• Managing the timely and accurate dispatch of orders to inmates
• Meeting and exceeding operational targets

What do we need from you?

• Current three-year UK address history (mandatory for security clearance)
• Ability to work effectively in a prison environment alongside inmates
• Understanding of warehouse processes (desirable)
• Strong communication skills across all levels
