C2 Recruitment is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader - Stock Audit to join a busy distribution centre in Dagenham. This hands-on leadership role oversees daily stock audits to ensure accuracy and compliance, while developing a small team and supporting peak performance.

You will monitor performance, address discrepancies, and drive improvements across warehouse operations, with a focus on high standards and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a warehouse team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good numerical and reporting skills.
• Experience with stock audits and inventory control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily stock audits across pallets, cages and trailer loads.
• Verify outbound loads against delivery paperwork and customer requirements.
• Investigate stock discrepancies and travel to root causes.
• Monitor audit data to identify trends and improve accuracy.
• Coach and support team members through feedback and one-to-one meetings.
• Ensure daily productivity and quality targets are met.
• Maintain accurate audit records and reporting.
• Promote health & safety and warehouse compliance.
• Support continuous improvements across warehouse operations.

C2 Recruitment is recruiting for a Warehouse Team Leader - Stock Audit to join a busy distribution centre in Dagenham. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a small team, take ownership of stock accuracy and play a vital role in supporting one of the UK's leading retail supply chains.

The Role

This is a hands‑on leadership position where you'll oversee daily warehouse stock audits, ensuring goods moving through the distribution centre are accurate, compliant and ready for dispatch.

Alongside leading your team, you'll monitor performance, identify stock discrepancies and help drive continuous improvements across warehouse operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Leading daily stock audits across pallets, cages and trailer loads
• Checking outbound loads against delivery paperwork and customer requirements

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who leads by example and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work.

Ideally you'll have experience in:

• Warehouse Team Leadership
• Warehouse Supervision
• Stock Control
• Inventory Management
• Warehouse Auditing
• Goods In / Goods Out
• Distribution Centre Operations

You'll also need:

• Previous experience leading or supervising a warehouse team
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good numerical skills
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Basic Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge
• The ability to motivate others whilst maintaining high standards
• A proactive, organised approach to work
• To be aged 18 or over

Hours

• 37.5 hours per week
• 30-minute unpaid break each day
• 5 days out of 7
• Rotating 8-hour shifts between: 6:00am - 10:00pm
• Chilled warehouse environment
