Job summary

Assist Resourcing UK Ltd is recruiting for Warehouse Team Leader roles to be based in Skelmersdale or Widnes. Training will occur in Warrington, with the job location confirmed on placement.

The role involves leading a team on the warehouse floor, coordinating daily tasks and ensuring accurate goods handling to satisfy customers. The position requires a minimum of 6 months warehouse experience, leadership capability, and proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of up to 30 on the warehouse floor.
• Lead shift briefings and manage staff performance.
• Oversee goods-in, storage, pick accuracy and dispatch to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Organise daily work plans and ensure equipment availability for your shift.
• Coordinate daily with Transport, Stock Control and Admin teams.

Job description

Job Title:Warehouse Team Leader

Location: Training in Warrington - role to be located in Skelmersdale or Widnes

Pay Rate:£13.30 p/h

Hours:Working 5 out 7 days - flexibility required

Contract: Temp to Perm (after 12 weeks)

Experience: 6 months minimum working in a warehouse - essential

Assist Resourcing are looking forWarehouseTeam Leaders in both Widnes and Skelmersdaleto work with our client who are a well known third party logistics supplier.

Your training will be completed in Warrington, and your place of work will either be Skelmersdale or Widnes, depending on your selection.

Warehouse Team Leader - the role & responsibilities:

We are looking for a proactive Team Leader who leads by example and can balance leadership duties with active physical participation on the warehouse floor.

You will have experience in and be able to:

• Lead a team of up to 30 people
• Lead shift briefings and manage staff performance
• Oversee goods-in, storage, pick accuracy, and dispatch to guarantee 100% customer satisfaction
• Organise daily work plans and ensuring proper equipment availability for your shift
• Daily coordination with Transport, Stock Control and Admin teamsThis role may require other duties, so it would be beneficial if you were flexible and willing to learn new skills.

About you:

You must have at least12 months experience working in asimilar role. You will possess strong leadership skills and have experience using Warehouse Management Systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

You will be a UK resident and will be able to travel to and from the site for your shift. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
