Job summary

Church & Dwight Co., Inc. is seeking a motivated Warehouse Team Leader for our Folkestone site. You will lead a busy warehouse and distribution operation, ensuring safety, accuracy, on-time delivery, and adherence to quality and cost targets.

You will mentor staff, develop processes, and work across departments to enhance efficiency. We require at least three years in a warehouse environment, with leadership experience and strong communication. SAP experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations to meet targets for productivity, quality, and safety.
• Manage labour resources, including allocation, rotation, leave planning, and overtime control.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and SAP controls.
• Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement across the warehouse function.
• Conduct team briefings, training support, and collaborate with other departments to improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, health and safety requirements.

We are looking for a motivated and proactive Warehouse Team Leader to join our busy Warehouse & Distribution operation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse professional who enjoys leading people, improving processes, and delivering excellent operational performance. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will be responsible for ensuring warehouse operations are completed safely, accurately, on time, and in full, while meeting quality, productivity, and cost targets. You will lead by example, support and develop your team, and play a key role in driving continuous improvement across the warehouse function.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily warehouse operations to ensure customer, productivity, quality, and safety targets are achieved.
• Manage labour resources effectively, including work allocation, staff rotation, annual leave planning, and overtime control.
• Maintain high levels of inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock investigations, and SAP controls.
• Monitor and report warehouse KPIs, ensuring performance standards are met and improvements are implemented.
• Conduct team briefings, support training and development, and work collaboratively with Production, Distribution, and other departments to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, health and safety requirements, and people management procedures.

About You

• An experienced warehouse professional with at least three years' experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a team.
• Strong communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• A confident user of warehouse systems and IT applications, with SAP experience advantageous.
• Able to motivate others, build strong relationships, and lead by example.
• Proactive, adaptable, and committed to continuous improvement and achieving results.
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety, inventory control, and KPI management.

This role is based at our site based in Folkestone. This role works Monday – Sunday, 4 on 4 off 12hour shifts.
