Job summary

Colloids Ltd in Knowsley, United Kingdom, seeks an experienced Warehouse Team Leader to oversee picking, packing, receiving and stock control, ensuring orders are loaded in good condition.

You will drive stock accuracy, manage a team, supervise FLT safety checks, maintain warehouse cleanliness, and implement best practices with Priority and WMS ERP systems, KPIs and monthly progress reporting.

A NVQ Level 2+ in Warehouse Management and at least 3 years in a leadership role are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2+ in Warehouse Management or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of Warehouse Management Systems and underpinning principles.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience at Team Leader or higher in Warehouse role.
• Competent IT user with good working knowledge of ERP systems- Priority and WMS

Responsibilities

• Manage correct picking and packing of customer orders and ensure orders are packed and loaded in good condition.
• Oversee receipt of raw materials and management of raw material storage areas.
• Identify short-term and longer-term resourcing issues in advance.
• Identify and solve problems to maintain maximum customer service at all times.
• Supervise maintenance of warehouse FLTs and ensure daily safety checks are completed.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organize stock takes and stock control.
• Manage stock, investigate and correct stock errors.
• Implement and maintain best practices through warehouse systems.

Job description

Salary Commensurate to role | 37.5 hours per week

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage the correct picking and packing of all customer orders and ensuring all orders are packed and loaded in good condition.
• Overseeing the receipt of raw materials and managing the storage areas for raw materials.
• Find, in advance, any resourcing issues both short-term and longer-term
• Identifying, anticipating and solving problems to ensure that maximum customer service is delivered at all times
• Supervise maintenance of warehouse FLT’s ensuring daily safety checks are completed.
• Managing the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the Warehouse
• Organisation and management of stock takes
• Management of stock, investigating and correcting stock errors.
• Implement and maintain best practice through systems throughout the Warehouse
• Control and implement KPIs and supply monthly progress report.
• Delivery of continuous improvement across all aspects of the Warehouse and Distribution facilities.

Person Specification:

• NVQ Level 2+ or equivalent in Warehouse Management
