Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Sunday - Tuesday (18:00 - 06:00, including 1 Saturday a month)

Location: WS11 8JH - Cannock

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader to coordinate our daily logistics requirements. The ideal candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

• Report on and monitor the effectiveness of warehousing activities and performance in your designated area.
• Supervise, implement, and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct reports, ensuring all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Undertake basic low-level incident investigations and escalate issues of non-compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Lead a team and optimize day-to-day performance, including shift sections and briefings to meet or exceed business targets.
• Manage KPIs effectively.
• Build and motivate the team, including recruitment, performance management, and ongoing development.
• Proactively suggest solutions and improvements, such as new processes, tools, or strategies, to benefit the team or organization.
