Job description

We're looking for a Warehouse Team Leader to join our team at Wincanton. As a Team Leader, you will report directly to the Shift Manager and support effective warehouse operations.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Motivate and manage a team of MTOs to meet and exceed performance objectives
• Manage resources to achieve KPIs
• Create and review performance reports and recommend improvements
• Ensure health & safety policies are followed
• Support employee investigations, welfare meetings, and disciplinaries
• Ensure efficient handling of goods, putaway, pick, goods out, and stock integrity
• Maintain product handling standards to prevent damages
• Train staff according to internal requirements
• Monitor performance, attendance, and sickness levels
• Record data during briefings
• Provide professional customer service
• Engage with the team and conduct 1-2-1 meetings
• Manage staff leave and deputise for Shift Managers
• Operate within Wincanton values
