Job summary

Co-op is looking for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our Birtley depot. You’ll be responsible for a sizeable team of warehouse operatives, ensuring safe picking and packing, and delivering results while upholding standards and procedures.

You’ll inspire, coach and engage your team to work to tight deadlines, build strong relationships with internal partners, and drive health and safety culture. You’ll analyse performance data and plan workloads, with opportunities to progress into wider

Qualifications

Experience leading a sizeable warehouse team.
Ability to work at pace while ensuring accuracy.
Proven track record of achieving performance targets.
Solid understanding of warehouse policies and safety standards.
Strong planning and workload organisation skills.
Excellent communication with teams and partners.
Knowledge of warehouse IT systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee a sizeable team of warehouse operatives.
Inspire, engage and coach your team to be highly efficient.
