Co-op Digital is seeking a Warehouse Team Manager for the back shift at the Birtley depot near Chester-le-Street. You will lead a sizeable team of warehouse operatives, coach performance, and ensure safe, on-time picking and packing while meeting strict targets.

The role emphasizes strong planning, policy adherence, and collaboration with internal partners to improve results and customer service.

Qualifications

• Previously managed a sizeable team, preferably from a logistics or FMCG background.
• Ability to work at pace and accuracy.
• Great track record of reaching and exceeding critical performance measures.
• Understanding and knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Strong planning skills and ability to organise workload.
• Understanding of how poor service can impact stores and customers.
• Excellent communication skills and IT competence.

Warehouse Team Manager – Back Shift

£31,050 - £34,500 plus 15% back shift premium and great benefits

Back shift – 2pm - 10pm

39 hours per week, full time, permanent

5 days over 7 including weekends

Birtley CDC, Unit 2 Drum Park, Drum Industrial Estate, Chester-le-Street, DH2 1AE

We’re looking for a warehouse team manager to join our team in the Birtley depot.

You’ll be responsible for a sizeable team of warehouse operatives, making sure that all products are picked and packed in a safe and secure manner. We’ll look for you to engage with your team; leading and coaching them to deliver better results week on week, along with making sure that they adhere to working standards, policies and procedures.
