Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Systems Controller for the Nestle Purina contract at Hams Hall, Birmingham. You will maintain the warehouse management system and related hardware, ensuring smooth operation and resolving system issues to reduce downtime.

The role offers a salary up to £37,948.29 plus a night shift allowance of £3,837.60 and 25 days’ annual leave. Benefits include a company pension, life assurance and access to a benefits platform with retail discounts.

Qualifications

• Strong aptitude towards warehouse management systems and associated technologies.
• Excellent ability to resolve IT issues to minimise downtime.
• Effective communication with internal and external customers to resolve problems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site systems run efficiently and minimise downtime.
• Coordinate interfaces between WMS and customer ERP systems.
• Update location sequences to support new season inventory integrations.
• Perform security backups of hardware and software systems.
• Actively participate in crisis situations involving technical problems.
