Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join the Nestlé Purina D2C operation at Hams Hall. You”ll help prepare orders for dispatch, operate a forklift, and contribute to a safe, high‑quality warehouse environment in a fast-paced setting.

This full-time, permanent role offers shifts across 06:00–14:00, 14:00–22:00, and 22:00–06:00, along with training opportunities and the potential for skill development within the GXO network.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience, manual handling and/ or FLT operations would be advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communications skills.
• Ability to work independently and use your own initiative.
• Understanding of Health & Safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Preparing products for dispatch to customers across the UK.
• Operating a Forklift Truck (FLT) to move stock and support warehouse operations.
• Creating promotional materials and completing associated warehouse task.
• Supporting warehouse operations while maintaining quality standards.
• Working safely and following all Health & Safety procedures.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives to join our busy Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operation team at Nestle Purina, Hams Hall. You will play a key role in the smooth and efficient running of the warehouse, preparing orders for dispatch while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and accuracy. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment, with opportunities to develop your skills, including forklift truck duties.

Role details

This is a full time, permanent role. You will be working in Any 5 out of 7 rotating shifts, 06:00 - 14:00 or 14:00 - 22:00 & 22:00 - 06:00.
