Warehouse Supervisor PM

Mediq UK is opening a new site in Castle Donington and is now recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our PM shift.

Hours: 2pm - 10.30pm

In this role, you will ensure that day-to-day operations are completed accurately in accordance with specific customer requirements and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Discharge duties safely in accordance with relevant procedures.
• Supervise operational processes to ensure correct dispatch of customer orders, scheduling staff and equipment to optimize efficiency.
• Plan workloads to ensure goods are stored, picked, processed, and loaded onto vehicles per company KPIs.
• Motivate the team through effective communication, coaching, and team-building measures.
• Manage your time to meet daily objectives, develop procedures, and take on additional responsibilities.
• Understand and meet internal and external customer needs.
• Comply with health and safety procedures and report risks.
• Manage and coach staff to achieve high standards.
• Monitor and record accuracy levels, liaising with managers on errors.
• Organize and supervise offloading, put-away, and vehicle loading activities.
• Record statistics and redeploy staff as needed.
• Reduce discrepancies and errors through analysis.
• Investigate customer complaints with support from the Line Manager.
• Ensure timely stock replenishments.
• Address performance or conduct issues in liaison with the Line Manager.
• Support Health & Safety compliance.
• Maintain clear work areas and uphold safe working practices.
• Record KPIs and discuss performance with the Line Manager.
• Lead and manage projects to improve operations.
