Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals in the UK is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join the Thermal Power & HVDC Division at the Murton site, County Durham. You will oversee receipt, storage and issue of construction materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with project specs.

You will lead site warehouse teams, prepare lift plans and RAMS, maintain inventory, and coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, Construction, QA/QC, and Project Controls to meet schedules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or material management.
• Experience supporting large-scale EPC, industrial or construction projects is highly desirable.
• Proven knowledge of inventory control and material traceability.
• ERP/WMS experience; SAP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations for receipt, storage, and issue of materials.
• Receive, inspect, and verify goods against orders and project specs.
• Lead warehouse personnel to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Submit lift plans and RAMS in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure traceability.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, Construction, QA/QC and Project Controls.
• Support audits, inspections, and reporting on warehouse operations.
• Prepare regular warehouse reports and KPI updates.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and material flow.
