Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for our UK team, based at the Murton project site in County Durham. You will supervise daily warehouse operations, manage receipt and issue of materials, and coordinate with Procurement, Logistics, and Construction teams to align with project schedules.

The role requires a minimum of five years in warehouse operations, strong leadership, and excellent planning skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
• Experience supporting large EPC/industrial/construction projects is desirable.
• Strong understanding of inventory control and material traceability.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations for receipt, storage, handling, and issue of materials.
• Inspect goods against purchase orders and project specifications; verify quantities and quality.
• Lead warehouse personnel to ensure safe, efficient material handling.
• Ensure lift plans and RAMS are submitted on time.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform stock counts and reconciliations.
• Coordinate deliveries and support construction schedules and site requirements.
• Liaise with Procurement, Logistics, Construction and QA/QC teams on material availability and schedules.
