Job summary

AIT Home Delivery UK Limited is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead a section of the warehouse, ensuring efficient operations and achievement of targets. The role involves hands-on management of a team of operatives, supporting the management team, and maintaining high service levels for customer deliveries.

You will oversee inbound goods, storage, picking and dispatch planning, and promote teamwork while resolving issues with escalation to senior staff when needed.

• Assist in running an efficient warehouse operation which is able to fulfil operational and customer demand and meet set targets.
• Take delivery of goods inbound, checking for damaged or missing items.
• Store goods appropriately.
• Sort orders for dispatch around Network.
• Promote a culture of teamwork.
• Where possible resolve any issues or problems which occur in the warehouse. Where appropriate elevate the issue to a more senior level.
• Ensure that all lifting and maneuvering of products and materials is carried out in accordance with manual handling procedures.

Our warehouse team is looking for a new Warehouse Supervisor to join them.

We strive to deliver an outstanding service to our customers and your role as a Supervisor is key to this. It's a hands on role where you will be responsible for the operation of a section within the warehouse function. Supporting the management team, responsible for a group of operatives and ensuring an achievement of business targets.
