Job summary

Warrens is recruiting a confident Warehouse Supervisor for the Blackrod operation near Bolton. You will lead a team across the Bread distribution operation in a fast-paced, 24-hour warehouse environment, ensuring productivity, quality, health and safety and customer service standards are met.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern from 10:00 to 22:00, offering a salary of £13.84 per hour and opportunities to develop within a growing Warrens operation.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced operation.
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Strong communication skills to share information clearly.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy operation.
• Proven ability to motivate teams and achieve targets and KPIs; IT systems proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of up to 40 warehouse colleagues across the bread, cake and other morning products operation.
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and KPI targets are met.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance; ensure processes and records are accurate.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to meet customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication to keep colleagues informed and focused.
• Support goods in and warehouse operations to ensure stock is received, handled and available; coach and develop team members.

Job Description

We are looking for a confident and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to join our Warrens Operation at our Blackrod operation in Bolton. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a fast-paced, modern warehouse environment where you will lead a team across our Bread distribution operation within a 24 hour warehouse operation

In this role, you will support the site in leading, motivating and developing the team, while making sure productivity, quality, health and safety, and customer service standards are achieved every day. You will play a key part in keeping the operation running smoothly and ensuring all customer requirements are delivered to a high standard.

This is a full-time, permanent position working 4 on 4 off shift pattern of between 10:00 and 22:00

Salary: £13.84 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, organise and support a team of up 40 warehouse colleagues across the Bread, cake and other morning products operation
• Drive shift performance to ensure productivity, service and operational KPI targets are consistently achieved.
• Promote high standards of health, safety, hygiene and compliance, making sure all processes and records are completed accurately.
• Carry out quality and compliance checks to ensure the operation meets customer and audit standards.
• Deliver team briefings and clear communication so colleagues stay informed, engaged and focused on priorities.
• Support the smooth running of goods in and warehouse operations so stock is received, handled and made available efficiently.Coach, support and develop team members to maximise performance and encourage progression.Support people processes, including investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For

• Previous warehouse experience, ideally within a fast-paced operation
• Previous team leader or supervisory experience in a similar FMCG or Food manufacturing background
• Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and confidently.
• Able to prioritise workloads effectively and meet deadlines in a busy operational environment.
• A proven ability to motivate teams and help deliver or exceed targets and KPIs.Confident using IT systems and standard computer applications.
• Professional, approachable and supportive in the way you work with others.
