Job summary

Sammons Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in Robertsbridge. This hands-on role requires supervising staff, organizing workloads, and ensuring safe, efficient completion of tasks.

You will operate Counterbalance and Pivot Steer forklifts, manage stock movements, and uphold high housekeeping and safety standards within a busy warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising a warehouse team.
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence.
• Valid Pivot Steer forklift licence.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse operations and support the warehouse team.
• Organise workloads and ensure priorities are completed on time.
• Operate Counterbalance and Pivot Steer forklifts as needed.
• Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Manage stock movement and maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Maintain high housekeeping and organisation standards.
• Support Health & Safety procedures across the warehouse.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a busy and well-established business based in Robertsbridge.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse, supervising warehouse activities and ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.

Salary:£30,000 paKey Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising daily warehouse operations and supporting the warehouse team
• Organising workloads and ensuring priorities are completed on time
• Operating Counterbalance and Pivot Steer forklifts
• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Managing stock movement and maintaining accurate warehouse records
• Ensuring high standards of housekeeping and organisation are maintained
• Supporting Health & Safety procedures across the warehouse
• Assisting with general warehouse duties as required

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience within a warehouse or supervisory role
• A valid Counterbalance Forklift licence
• A valid Pivot Steer Forklift licence
• Experience leading or supporting a warehouse team
• Good organisational and communication skills
• A hands-on approach with the ability to work as part of a team
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety within a warehouse environment
