Job summary

Evri is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for our East Midlands depot in Nottingham. The role supports the day-to-day operations, leading a team of sorters and drivers to ensure efficient parcel processing and on-time delivery.

You will oversee reporting, SLA adherence, and workforce management, with Monday–Friday daytime hours (10am–6pm) and a 45-hour week. The successful candidate will have logistics leadership experience and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work on own initiative in a pressurised environment.
• Experience managing teams in a fast-paced logistics environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Transport knowledge including regulations.
• Good communicator at all levels.
• Flexible to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and train reports and ensure SLAs are hit for the day shift.
• Process MI reports based on work output of drivers and loaders.
• Manage all areas of the day operations, sortation and transportation efficiently and cost-effectively.
• People management – recruitment, inductions and ongoing performance and attendance management; submit daily debrief with drivers and weekly reports.
• Compliance – legalities, management of domestic driving hours (breaks/shift lengths/rest periods).
• Resourcing – effective utilisation of rosters.

Our Backshift Warehouse Supervisor is a key role working with our Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the day operation in our Depot where you will lead teams of, Sorters and Drivers in processing parcels delivered from client sites in to smaller geographic areas to be delivered to the final customer.

We need Professionals who can motivate, manage and where necessary discipline a diverse workforce to get the best out of them. You will also talent manage and develop your team so that as promotion and more senior roles become available you have the talent to build your team.

• Transport knowledge, skills or experience including regulations

• Flexibleapproach to work to meet business requirements
