Job summary

Exchange People is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for a busy Garston site. You will oversee goods-in, production support, dispatch, and site housekeeping, while ensuring safety and compliance on every shift.

The role requires hands-on leadership, attention to detail with paperwork, and a proactive approach to maintaining stock and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse supervisory or team-leader experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Experience with goods-in, stock control and dispatch.
• Ability to lead from the floor and keep paperwork accurate.

Responsibilities

• Manage goods-in and receive, check, and book deliveries against PO.
• Oversee picking, packing, labeling and courier verification.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards on site.
• Conduct daily fire safety checks and enforce PPE rules.
• Complete pre-use checks on forklifts and pallet trucks.
• Support production flow by ensuring material availability.

Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Garston, Liverpool

Pay: £16.00 per hour

Contract: Temp to Perm

We are recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for a busy site in Garston, Liverpool.

This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who takes genuine ownership of warehouse operations, health and safety, and team standards.

The role covers goods-in, production oversight, dispatch, and site housekeeping.

• you will be hands-on and visible on the floor every day.

Key Duties

• Manage goods-in
• receive, check, and book in deliveries accurately against purchase orders
• ensure goods are picked, packed, labelled, and verified before courier collection
• Maintain warehouse housekeeping and organisation throughout every shift
• Conduct daily fire safety checks and enforce health and safety standards at all times
• Complete pre-use checks on forklifts and pallet trucks; report defects immediately
• Support production flow by ensuring materials are available and work areas are kept clear
• Complete and maintain accurate paperwork, goods-in records, and issue logs
• Challenge unsafe behaviour and enforce PPE requirements without exception

What We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role
• Sound knowledge of health and safety practices
• Experience with goods-in, stock control, and dispatch processes
• comfortable leading from the floor
• Attention to detail with paperwork, counts, and discrepancies
• Ability to hold a team to a consistent, compliant standard
