We are opening a new site in Sherburn in Elmet and are recruiting for our team of Supervisors who can roll up their sleeves, get things done, support and grow their team, and develop themselves further. About You

Warehousing and operations will be your domain. You likely have at least 1 year of leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing teams successfully, exceeding productivity targets, and delivering excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team, driving engagement and embodying ID Logistics values
• Maintain high standards of communication
• Coach colleagues through continuous development, ongoing coaching, feedback, and regular 121 meetings
• Conduct regular 121 sessions to discuss performance, opportunities, and succession planning
• Deliver effective shift briefs and team communications
• Organize teams, allocate work, and monitor progress to meet customer requirements
• Manage people processes in line with company policy, ensuring timely completion of activities like payroll
• Prioritize customer needs, promoting a customer-focused approach
• Achieve and sustain KPI performance, understanding business and cost implications
• Use forecasts and trends for planning
• Ensure quality control of dispatch and sortation items
• Maintain stock accuracy and security following systems and procedures
• Collaborate with colleagues to achieve site results
• Prioritize health and safety, conducting regular checks
• Continuously seek operational improvements to better serve customers

Your Skills & Experience

• At least 12 months of leadership experience
• Experience in warehouse/logistics operations
• Currently studying or willing to study a Level 3 Leadership qualification (or equivalent)
• Proven ability to drive performance in results-oriented environments
• People-first leadership style, engaging and motivating teams
• Adaptable to change and supportive of new initiatives
• Strong communication skills, able to influence colleagues and stakeholders
