Fairfax Meadow in Derby seeks an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations, ensuring accurate, safe and timely customer orders. This hands-on leadership role offers scope to develop people and improve performance.

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will work closely with the Warehouse Manager, taking ownership of daily operations, motivating the team and driving standards across the warehouse. You'll help develop skills, foster a positive environment and meet targets.

Warehouse Supervisor

Location: Derby

Working Hours: 14:00 - 23:00 working any 5 from 7 days.

Salary up to £35,734 per annum (dependent on experience)

Fairfax Meadow has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our Derby operation, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately, safely and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to develop people and improve performance.

A satisfying role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your leadership and organisational skills will be key to keeping our warehouse running smoothly. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you'll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead and motivate the team, and help drive standards across the warehouse. You'll also play an important role in developing your team's skills and knowledge, creating a positive working environment and ensuring we deliver against our targets.

What we are looking for

• Previous supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution
• Food manufacturing, food distribution, chilled logistics or FMCG experience
• Confident people leadership and clear communication
• A proactive approach and the ability to perform under pressureGood IT skills, attention to detail and a focus on standards
• Flexibility to work the stated 5-out-of-7 rota, including weekends
