Job summary

Sysco GB in Derby is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operation, motivate the team and ensure orders are delivered accurately, safely and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to develop people and improve performance.

As part of the role, you will work closely with the Warehouse Manager to own daily operation, drive standards and help develop your team’s skills, creating a positive working environment and contributing to KPI targets.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in warehouse, logistics or distribution.
• Food manufacturing, food distribution, chilled logistics or FMCG experience.
• Confident people leadership and clear communication.
• A proactive approach and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Good IT skills, attention to detail and a focus on standards.

Working Hours: 14:00 - 23:00 working any 5 from 7 days.

Salary up to £35,734 per annum (dependent on experience)

Fairfax Meadow has been putting great meat on the menu for over 50 years. We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to help lead our Derby operation, ensuring customer orders are delivered accurately, safely and on time. This is a hands-on leadership role with real scope to develop people and improve performance.

A satisfying role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, your leadership and organisational skills will be key to keeping our warehouse running smoothly. Working closely with the Warehouse Manager, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day operation, lead and motivate the team, and help drive standards across the warehouse. You’ll also play an important role in developing your team’s skills and knowledge, creating a positive working environment and ensuring we deliver against our targets.
