Job summary

The Best Connection group Limited is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for its Crewe, Cheshire depot. You will support the Depot Manager and oversee the day-to-day operation of the warehouse, ensuring KPI targets are met and maintaining safety, quality, and regulatory standards.

This Temp-to-Perm role offers progression after 12 consecutive weeks, with a 5 out of 7 shift pattern and competitive hourly rates (£15.55 per hour day shifts, £16.55 per hour night shifts).

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar in a fast-paced warehouse/distribution environment.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Experience with root cause analysis and safety systems (SSOW, HACCP optional).
• Proven ability to prioritise, communicate effectively, and build cross-functional relationships.

Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of a leading logistics and packaging solutions company based in

Crewe, Cheshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated

Warehouse Supervisor,

Logistics Supervisor looking to join a well-established UK-wide organisation specialising in the

storage, distribution, and management of packaging solutions for major retail clients.

Warehouse Supervisor Duties & Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a key role in supporting the Depot Manager and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the warehouse.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Depot Manager to meet and exceed operational KPI targets
• Ensuring compliance with

BRCGS standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), and quality assurance processes

• Acting as HACCP Leader and maintaining product quality, safety, legality, and security standards
• Managing critical control points and quality procedures within the warehouse operation
• Building strong relationships with customers, third-party providers, suppliers, and the wider supply chain
• Working closely with the Equipment Control Team to maintain accurate asset management procedures
• Supporting the implementation of Health & Safety, Hygiene, and HR policies across the depot
• Creating and maintaining a safe, positive, and productive working environment
• Leading, motivating, and developing warehouse staff to achieve operational excellence

Warehouse Supervisor Requirements

To be successful in this role, applicants should have:

• Previous experience as a

Warehouse Supervisor,

Warehouse Team Leader, or similar role within a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment

• Excellent leadership and people management skills
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience conducting Root Cause Analysis investigations
• Knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe Systems of Work (SSOW)
• The ability to inspire, influence, and develop teams
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
• Experience working collaboratively with departments including Equipment Control, HR, Transport, and Health & Safety
• Confidence delivering team briefings and toolbox talks
• Good IT and computer literacy skills
• A proactive, self-motivated, and professional approach

FLT Counterbalance Licence is desirable but not essential.

Working Hours

This role operates on a

5 out of 7 shift pattern, covering the following rotating shifts:

6:00am - 2:00pm - £15.55 per hour

2:00pm - 10:00pm - £15.55 per hour

10:00pm - 6:00am - £16.55 per hour

• Competitive hourly rates up to

£16.55 per hour

• Overtime paid after 37.5 hours at

time and one-third

• Bank Holiday pay at

time and a half

• Temp-to-perm opportunity
