Ethero is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Stoke-on-Trent. The role is a temp-to-perm position with rotational shifts and weekly pay. You will supervise warehouse staff, allocate daily workloads, and ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.

The candidate will manage parcel carrier shipments, oversee pick/pack processes, and maintain stock records while supporting stock counts and audits. Yard maintenance and equipment checks are also required.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations (goods receiving, storage, stock control, picking, packing, dispatch).
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexible approach to working hours and operational demands.

Responsabilités

• Check motorised equipment is functioning correctly i.e. PPT, VNA, Forklift, reporting of any nonconformance, ensure completion of pre-use checks.
• Maintain accurate stock records.
• Support stock counts and inventory audits.
• Manage warehouse supplies and resources.

Key role and responsibilities:

• Yard maintenance Emptying of skips & hygiene
• Check motorised equipment is functioning correctly i.e. PPT, VNA, Forklift, reporting of any nonconformance, ensure completion of pre-use checks
• Maintain accurate stock records
• Support stock counts and inventory audits
• Manage warehouse supplies and resources

Requirements

• Previous experience driving VNA advantages but not essential
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Flexible approach to working hours and operational demands

Working hours:

Rotational shift

Week 1 - 08:30 -17:30 Monday to Friday

Week 2 - 10:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday

Week 3 - 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and a Saturday 09:00 – 17:00

Pay rate: £13.60 - £14.00- per hour PAYE, paid weekly
