Job summary

IFGlobal, a technology-enabled 3PL, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Christchurch to lead the weekend operation and support the growing team. You will manage on-floor activity, organize workloads, coach staff, and uphold safety, quality, PPE, and housekeeping standards to ensure efficient and safe performance.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse or operational experience with some leadership responsibility, strong communication skills, and a proactive, hands-on approach focused on team

• Hours per week: 40 hours, 08:30-17:30 (Sun 07:00-16:00).

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day performance of the warehouse team.
• Organise workloads and staffing to keep the operation running effectively.
• Coach and develop team members, including induction of new starters.
• Hold regular team catch-ups, providing feedback and maintaining communication.
• Maintain high standards across Health & Safety, quality, PPE and housekeeping.
• Take ownership of operational issues as they arise, escalating where appropriate.

About the role

As our operation continues to grow, we’re looking for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations team and help lead our expanding weekend operation.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their warehouse career, develop their leadership experience and grow with the business. You’ll lead from the floor, supporting the team and taking ownership of the day-to‑day operation to ensure we deliver safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What you'll do

• Lead the day-to-day performance of the warehouse team.

• Support, coach and develop team members, including the induction of new starters.
• Hold regular team catch‑ups, providing feedback and maintaining strong communication.
