Job summary

Ethero Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily warehouse operations and ensure accurate order fulfilment. You will supervise staff, coordinate workload allocation, and oversee carrier shipments, packing, and stock control.

The role requires knowledge of Health & Safety legislation, problem-solving skills, and flexibility to cover rotating shifts. Commutable from Stoke-on-Trent, Newcastle-under-Lyme and surrounding areas.

Job description

• Supervise warehouse staff and allocate daily workloads
• Ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Responsibility for parcel carrier shipments (e.g. DPD, DHL, Royal Mail) and the pick/pack process for systems
• Yard maintenance Emptying of skips & hygiene
• Check motorised equipment is functioning correctly i.e. PPT, VNA, Forklift, reporting of any nonconformance, ensure completion of pre-use checks
• Support stock counts and inventory audits
• Manage warehouse supplies and resources

Requirements

• Previous experience driving VNA advantages but not essential
• Proven supervisory or team leadership experience
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, including goods receiving, storage, stock control, picking, packing, and dispatch
• Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices
• Problem-solving and decision‑making abilities
• Flexible approach to working hours and operational demands

Working hours:

Rotational shift

Week 1 - 08:30 -17:30 Monday to Friday

Week 2 - 10:00 – 19:00 Monday to Friday

Week 3 - 08:30 – 17:30 Monday to Friday and a Saturday 09:00 – 17:00
