Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Pay Rate: £28,952.46

Grade: N

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday - Friday 8.00 - 17.00

Location: HM Prison Birmingham - B18 4AS

Note: The role is based within a prison and requires an enhanced security vetting process.

About the Role

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will support prisoners' rehabilitation by managing warehouse operations within a prison environment, working with a diverse team, including prisoners and staff.

Key Responsibilities

1. Assist the Warehouse Manager in daily warehouse operations on-site at the prison.
2. Manage and supervise Warehouse Team Leaders and prisoners at work.
3. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and prison rules.
4. Conduct staff training and inductions.
5. Achieve and exceed operational targets.

Candidate Requirements

1. Three years of UK address history (mandatory for security clearance).
2. Ability to work within a prison environment alongside inmates.
3. Experience in team leadership or supervision.
4. IT literacy for reporting purposes.
5. Proactive attitude, accuracy, and passion for the role.
6. Enhanced security clearance is mandatory.
