Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor

Pay Rate: £28,952.46

Grade: N

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift Patterns: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 17:00

Location: HM Prison Birmingham - B18 4AS

Note: The role is based within a prison. Successful candidates will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process.

No two days are the same on our HMPPS contract. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting prisoners' rehabilitation by working with a diverse team.

Role Responsibilities

1. Assist the Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse operations on-site at the prison.
2. Manage the Warehouse Team Leaders and supervise prisoners during work hours.
3. Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and prison regulations.
4. Conduct staff training and inductions.
5. Achieve and exceed operational targets.

Candidate Requirements

1. Current three-year UK address history (mandatory for security clearance).
2. Ability to work in a prison environment alongside inmates.
3. Experience in team leadership, management, or supervision.
4. Proficiency in IT for accurate reporting.
5. Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passionate approach.
6. Mandatory enhanced security clearance.
