Job summary

Saab UK, part of Saab Seaeye, requires a Stores Operative to manage goods receipt, stock control, picking, packing and shipping in a busy stores area. You will ensure accurate labeling, safe storage and timely order fulfilment in accordance with the MRP schedule.

Role involves handling goods, updating stock locations, and maintaining KPI data while upholding safety in a dynamic defence-related environment. Training and learning opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or stores experience is desired.
• Ability to work at height is required.
• Experience with ERP systems is desirable.
• Forklift experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Receive goods and materials in line with the MRP schedule.
• Process goods receipt documents and stock locations.
• Pick work and sales orders from picking lists with accuracy.
• Label, pack and ship orders to customers.
• Maintain stock accuracy and organise the stores area.
• Follow manual handling guidelines and use lifting equipment as needed.
• Keep the yard clean and ensure safety of stored items.
• Contribute to KPI reporting and stock updates.
