Job summary

C2 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Stock Operative to join a distribution centre in Sherburn-In-Elmet. This full-time, permanent role pays £24,882 per annum and covers a 37.5 hour week with shifts from 5am-1pm or 2pm-10pm, 5 days out of 7. Own transport is required.

You will audit inbound deliveries and stock accuracy, maintain stock integrity, and support multiple workstreams using basic Excel and Word skills. Full training and progression opportunities are offered.

Responsibilities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and investigate errors.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity of stock data at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.

The position

• This is a full time permanent position based at our customers distribution centre in Sherburn-In-Elmet


• Rate of pay: £24,882 per annum


• Weekly hours: 37.5 hours per week plus daily 30-min unpaid break


• Shift Patterns: 5 days out of 7, 8-hour shifts between: 5am-1pm & 2pm-10pm


• Working Environment - Mixed


• Full drivers licence and own transport required

A day in the life of a Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities
