Job summary

C2 Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Operative at a distribution centre in Sherburn-In-Elmet. The role offers a full-time, permanent position with a salary of £24,882 per annum and 37.5 hours per week, plus a 30-minute unpaid break.

Shifts run 5 days out of 7 in 8-hour blocks (5am-1pm or 2pm-10pm). A full driving licence and own transport are required. Onsite parking is available and training is provided to perform at your best with opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Must be aged 18 years and over.
• Able to actively respond to verbal instructions and audible warning devices.

Warehouse Stock Operative

As a Warehouse Stock Operative, you will work as part of a dynamic and supportive team in what can be described as a fast-paced and target driven environment to ensure the stock entering or leaving the depot is accurate.

Our activities vary, so often, you may be required to work across multiple different workstreams such as Goods Inbound checks, Picker Accuracy audits and Load Adherence checks most of which require periods of manual handling.

Job activities

• Audit the Inbound accuracy of supplier deliveries on the GFR program.
• Audit Picker accuracy of stock destined for stores and fully investigate all errors found.
• Adhere to agreed audit and error verification procedures at all times.
• Maintain integrity at all times.
• Ensure the expected productivity levels are achieved, in line with customer expectations.
• Review daily targets in line with customer expectations.
