Howdens Joinery is seeking a Warehouse Person to join our UK depot team in Reigate. You will unload deliveries, check stock, perform forklift checks and ensure accurate, safe stock preparation for dispatch. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety and customer-focused service within a fast-paced depot setting.

Qualifications

• A valid forklift licence is desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with stock and records.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management skills.
• Customer focused with a friendly and professional attitude.
• Clear communication and strong organisational and planning skills.
• Reliable, hands-on and proud of a safe, tidy warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking stock accurately in line with health and safety.
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensuring stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Carrying out regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient through stock rotation.
• Supporting trade customers with a professional and helpful service.
• Assisting with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Working closely with the wider depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
