Job summary

Howdens Joinery in the United Kingdom is hiring a Warehouse Person to join a busy depot. You’ll unload deliveries, check stock, and maintain a clean, safe, well-run warehouse while supporting trade customers with a friendly, professional service.

We’re looking for someone who can work independently or in a team, with good literacy, numeracy and planning skills, a strong eye for detail and a commitment to health and safety. A forklift licence is desirable and full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management

Responsibilities

• Unloading deliveries and checking stock in line with health and safety standards
• Carrying out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment
• Ensuring stock is secure and prepared for dispatch
• Completing regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records
• Keeping the warehouse clean, organised and efficient through stock rotation
• Supporting trade customers with a professional and helpful service
