Howdens Joinery Limited in Willesden is seeking a warehouse operative to unload deliveries, check stock, operate forklifts, and support dispatch with accuracy and safety. You will work both independently and as part of a team, maintaining high standards of organization and customer service in a busy depot environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence desirable.
• Good understanding of stock control and health and safety.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail, especially with stock and records.
• Good literacy, numeracy and time management.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries and check stock accurately per health and safety standards.
• Carry out daily checks on forklift trucks and equipment.
• Ensure stock is secure and prepared for dispatch.
• Complete regular stock checks and maintain records.
• Keep warehouse clean, organised and efficient with stock rotation.
• Support trade customers with professional service.
• Assist with deliveries, collections and general warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with depot team to keep operations running smoothly.
