Job summary

A manufacturing company in Birmingham is looking for a warehouse operations professional. Key responsibilities include managing inventory, picking and dispatching parts, and ensuring high standards of organization and safety. Job description

Responsibilities
  • Receive, count, and accurately shelve incoming parts within the warehouse.
  • Pick, pack, and dispatch parts in line with operational demand.
  • Manage inventory records and ensure alignment between physical stock and system data.
  • Work closely with the service department to support parts sales orders and invoicing.
  • Maintain high standards of 6S organisation, safety, and cleanliness on site.
  • Operate the Warehouse Management System (WMS) effectively; ERP systems such as SAP are a plus.
Requirements
  • Must have the legal right to work in the UK.
  • Strong communication skills in English; Chinese language skills are an advantage where required for business operations.
  • Proven experience in warehouse operations, parts inventory management, and stock control.
  • Proficiency in WMS; experience with SAP or other ERP systems preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above, ideally in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
