Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is hiring for a warehouse operative in the UK. You will unload/load parcels, sort them for delivery routes, and prepare trailers for drivers while delivering friendly, dependable service to customers.

The role includes night shifts (23:00–07:00), Saturday-Sunday coverage not guaranteed, and overtime with a generous benefits package. Starting salary is £25,201 per year with progression opportunities.

Hours: 38 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Tuesday-Saturday 23:00-07:00

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays)
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)

What You’ll Be Doing

• Unloading / Loading parcels
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Providing a friendly, dependable service - whether it’s a birthday gift or important business mail
