Job summary

Parcelforce Worldwide is recruiting for a night shift operative at our Chelmsford depot. The role involves unloading/loading parcels up to 30kg, sorting to delivery routes and preparing trailers for drivers, with a friendly, dependable service for customers.

You will work 16 hours per shift, with overtime opportunities, typical hours Friday and Sunday 23:30-07:30, and a starting salary of £25,201 per year increasing after 6 months.

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 16 [[zworkinghours and days]], with opportunities for overtime. Typical attendance is Friday & Sunday, 23:30-07:30.

Location: Parcelforce Worldwide, Springfield Business Park, Chelmsford, North Essex - CM2 5AE

Why this role pays off:

• Starting salary: £25,201 per year, £12.71 per hour
• After 6 months: £27,561 per year, £13.94 per hour
• Opportunity to earn up to £30,000 per year, (based on a 38 hour week & overtime)
• Saturday & Sunday Weekend Premium +£4.39 (Saturdays) & +£6.58 (Sundays) applied to contracted hours
• Paid weekday and weekend overtime
• Additional Allowances:-
• Monthly Non Pensionable Addition to Pay (£903.84 per year)
• Night Duty Allowance (+£2.74 per hour, applicable on hours worked between 20:00 and 06:00)
