Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager for our new Daventry distribution centre. The role focuses on night shifts (10pm–6am), overseeing staffing, KPI achievement and safety. The salary is £38,000 per year with 30 days holiday and a 15% staff discount, plus a benefits package.

Warehouse Shift Manager - Nights

- Hours: 37.5hrs per week, across any 5 days from 7 (including weekend)
-Pay:£38,000per annum

We are looking to recruit Shift Managers for our brand new distribution centre in Daventry, Northamptonshire. Details about the new site are included below:

• Address =Logicor Park Daventry, Royal Oak Way N, Daventry, NN11 8QL.

Available shift patterns include:

• Nights (10pm-6am)

As Shift Manager,you will be responsible for utilising available resources to maximise efficiency in order to achieve and exceed KPI`s. Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet daily operational requirements within the warehouse, as well as providing a safe working environment for all by adhering to the Site Health & Safety procedures and ensuring that these are understood and practiced by the entire team.

You will also ensure high levels of hygiene and housekeeping in the warehouse at all times and deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate. Address any performance issues or training needs.As it is a fast paced Warehouse environment you will need to continuously monitor, review and act upon available operational reports ensuring quality and performance are never compromised and if you need to elevate any potential issues to the appropriate Site Manager.
Manage new starters to receive comprehensive induction training and ensure team members are multi-skilled through planned training, coaching and development.Measuring the improvement in performance and increasing responsibility, thereby promoting a culture of employee engagement.Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP`s) and ensure the department continuously achieves a high level of customer focus and service.The Warehouse Supervisor will conduct team briefings daily/weekly as required, discussing with the staff any issues which may cause concern within the working environment, the successful candidate must have a proven track record using a WMS.
