Job summary

ILG (International Logistics Group Ltd) in Northampton is seeking a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead day-to-day operations across one of our warehouse sites. You will drive productivity, ensure safety and deliver client satisfaction while coordinating with Section Managers and frontline teams.

The role requires proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, knowledge of warehouse operations, and strong leadership and communication skills. Familiarity with WMS and MS Office is desirable.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally within a 3PL environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and performance management.
• Financial awareness with experience managing labour and operational costs.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with WMS software (desirable).
• Experience within fashion or beauty logistics (desirable).

The role

We are looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations across one of our warehouse sites. Reporting to the Assistant Warehouse Manager, you will ensure that performance, safety, efficiency and client satisfaction are delivered to a high standard.

You will manage Section Managers, Supervisors and warehouse teams, maintaining strong communication with internal departments and clients. The role involves driving productivity, managing resources effectively and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Key responsibilities of the role include:

• Leading the warehouse operations to achieve service, quality and efficiency targets.

Please be aware that the hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 6am - 2pm
