Job summary

Lidl GB is seeking a Shift Leader to help run warehouse operations, leading by example and guiding the team through opening, running and closing shifts. You’ll train new starters, ensuring high standards and teamwork across the shift, with a focus on delivering results at the end of each day.

Qualifications

• Line management experience in warehousing or logistics preferred.
• Ability to lead shifts and supervise direct reports.
• Strong teamwork and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Line manage an amazing team, supporting them with development, coaching and training.
• Lead the shifts for your area, taking responsibility for colleague performance and direct reports.
• Work closely with other Shift Leaders to ensure smooth operations across the RDC.
• Support your Department Manager with daily operations and personnel management.
• Motivate and support your team, aligning with Company Values.
• Mentor your colleagues and support training for your team.
• Promote efficient working methods and highlight inefficiencies.
• Perform general warehouse duties like moving stock, picking goods and processing returns.

What you'll do
