Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment is seeking a Goods Return Operative to join a busy warehouse in the Rackheath/Norwich area. The role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour on a temporary contract.

You will be responsible for processing returned goods, checking items for damage and ensuring accurate records and sorting. The position is physically demanding, requiring you to be on your feet throughout the day and to use basic handheld technology to record and track

Qualifications

• Able to lift items up to 20kg.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic handheld technology.
• Good communication skills and understanding of English.
• Previous warehouse or returns experience is beneficial but not essential.
• An interest in fishing or angling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process returned products.
• Scan barcodes and update records using an iPad or handheld scanner.
• Check returned items for damage or missing parts.
• Sort products into the correct locations.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Assist with end-of-day housekeeping.
