Job summary

Straight Forward Recruitment Limited in Norwich is seeking a Goods Return Operative for a busy warehouse in the Rackheath/Norwich area. Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Pay: £12.71 per hour. Temporary contract.

You will process returned goods, check for damage, update records on an iPad or handheld scanner, and sort products to the correct locations. The role is physically demanding and requires good English and communication.

Qualifications

• Able to lift items up to 20kg.
• Good attention to detail.
• Comfortable using basic handheld technology.
• Good communication skills and understanding of English.
• Previous warehouse or returns experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Interest in fishing or angling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Process returned products.
• Scan barcodes and update records using an iPad or handheld scanner.
• Check returned items for damage or missing parts.
• Sort products into the correct locations.
• Maintain a clean and tidy work area.
• Assist with end-of-day housekeeping.
